We have recently been instructed by our client, a top tier full-service law firm in the East Midlands, in relation to an opportunity for a Family Solicitor/Associate to join their growing Family team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor who is seeking a varied and challenging role.
About the role
This firm have one of the leading Family law teams in the East Midlands and this role has an emphasis on divorce and financial remedy.
Workflows will include managing a caseload of:
- Divorce proceedings
- Financial matters upon divorce
- Family Law Act applications
- Cohabitation and Separation Agreements
About the person
The successful Family Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 1 years’ experience gained in Family matters, in particular divorce and financial remedy. However, this is just a guide and candidates with less experience will also be considered if they can demonstrate the required skillset.
Alongside an exceptional academic record, key skills that the Family must possess include an eye for detail, the ability to communicate effectively, organisational skills and great client care skills. You will also be enthusiastic about business development to assist the team as they continue to grow.

The firm has a reputation in the East Midlands for encouraging a friendly and supportive environment and they operate a no hierarchy structure with work being allocated evenly.
