Our client, a highly regarded firm, is seeking talented lawyers to join their dynamic Pensions team. This is your chance to work with industry leaders, tackle complex legal challenges, and grow your expertise in a thriving practice area.

What will you do:
This role offers exposure to an enviable client list, including PLCs, trustees of large pension schemes, and major insurers. You’ll work on both traditional pensions matters and cutting-edge areas like DC projects for master trusts and innovative investment strategies. The successful Pensions NQ+ will:
  • Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of pensions law to scheme trustees, corporates, and insurers across a diverse range of matters.
  • Support established client service teams by delivering high-quality guidance on complex multi-jurisdictional issues related to pension schemes.
  • Work closely with junior lawyers and partners in a collaborative environment that fosters knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Advise clients on regulatory changes affecting pension schemes, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice standards.
  • Contribute to high-profile defined contribution (DC) projects for pension providers and master trusts, expanding your expertise beyond traditional comfort zones.
  • Assist with innovative pension fund investment matters, including infrastructure projects and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines to provide holistic legal solutions tailored to each client's needs.
What will you bring:
The successful Pensions NQ+ will:
  • Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional client service teams
  • Demonstrated experience advising on complex pensions law matters within private practice or in-house legal environments. Applications from those with a Corporate, Commercial or Employment background (with a minimum of 1 seat in a training contract).
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with trustees, corporates, insurers, and other stakeholders involved in pension schemes.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing UK pension schemes including recent legislative developments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with junior lawyers, partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
