About the role
The successful Employment Solicitor will be joining a multi-disciplinary team and who are specialists in employment. In brief, you will be:
Supporting the healthcare partner leads across their substantial health and social care practice.
Advising on employee relations matters including internal disciplinary/grievance/capability processes.
Reviewing/drafting employment policies and providing contractual advice.
Have the opportunity to support a diverse range of national and regional clients across the other sectors in which the firm work
Manage your own caseload whilst working with several of our partner leads and colleagues across all their offices
About you The successful candidate will be involved in providing sound, commercial employment advice and would have the following skill set/experience:
Circa 2 years PQE gained in a reputable law firm or in house organisations.
A range of contentious and non-contentious employment experience
A strong core understanding of equalities legislation and case-law and equal opportunities principles
Good client management skills and an interest in business development
