About the role
This growing Employment team carry out a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for Respondents across a range of sectors. Daily work of the Employment Solicitor will involve providing commercial advice to clients on a range of issues including employment tribunal and litigation proceedings, redundancies, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE and the drafting of various employment documentation including advising one of the firm’s largest and most valued clients.
About the person
The Employment Solicitor must be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally 6 months' experience in Employment matters, preferably Respondent but Claimant experience will be considered.
Desired attributes of the Employment Solicitor include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving and negotiation skills and commercial acumen. Ambition and the desire to work hard are pre-requisites for this role. Advocacy experience is not essential but will be looked upon favourably as this team undertake some of their own advocacy.
