An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (2+PQE) to join a highly regarded regional law firm in their Birmingham office. This role is rewarded with a competitive salary depending on the Employment Solicitor’s experience, along with excellent benefits.
About the role
This Employment team carries out a good mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for respondent clients. Daily work of the Employment Solicitor will involve advising on a range of issues including employment tribunal and litigation proceedings, mediation, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE and the drafting of various employment documentation.
About the person
The Employment Solicitor must be a UK qualified solicitor ideally with a minimum of two years’ experience in an employment, ideally acting for Respondents.
Desired attributes of the Employment Solicitor include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving and negotiation skills and commercial acumen. This firm are looking for an independent thinker with an enthusiastic attitude and a strong ambition for career development.
