Corporate Solicitor

A leading Birmingham firm is seeking an exceptional Corporate Lawyer -Funds to join its highly regarded Corporate team, focusing on funds, joint ventures, and real estate investment structures. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions with a sophisticated client base.

The successful Corporate Lawyer – Funds will join a high-performing team specialising in:

• Private investment funds (including private equity and hedge funds)
• Complex real estate joint ventures and investment structures
• Indirect real estate investments involving retail, industrial, student accommodation, BTR, regeneration, and mixed-use schemes
• EIS/SEIS funds, equity crowd-funding structures, and private REITs
• Infrastructure, renewable energy, and social impact funds

You will support clients throughout the fund lifecycle, from formation and investor negotiations to acquisitions, refinancings, restructurings, and governance matters. The work is fast-paced, varied, and often involves cross-border and multi-jurisdictional structures.

About you

• A UK qualified solicitor with 2–7 PQE gained at a reputable law firm.
• Strong corporate experience with exposure to funds, investment, or joint venture work.
• Indirect real estate experience highly desirable.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex and fast-moving matters.
• Collaborative mindset and a desire to work with sophisticated clients on high-value transactions.
