What you'll do:
As an Infrastructure Platforms Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's IT infrastructure. You will take ownership of the operational management of an evolving hybrid environment while building and leading a high-performing team. Your responsibilities will span across various areas including Azure infrastructure, networking, cloud security, service management frameworks, incident response, performance monitoring, stakeholder engagement and collaboration. Your commitment to operational excellence will drive improvements in the Azure platform and hybrid network infrastructure.
* Lead and grow a team of 6-8 engineers covering Azure infrastructure, networking, and cloud security.
* Ensure the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of our Azure platform and hybrid network infrastructure.
* Work closely with the migration partner to ensure a smooth transition from on-prem to Azure.
* Ensure our networking and cloud services are highly available, resilient, and well-documented.
* Drive an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approach to manage cloud and networking resources consistently and efficiently.
* Act as the technical bridge between infrastructure, security, applications, and external vendors.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Infrastructure Platforms Manager role brings a wealth of experience in leading infrastructure or platform operations teams within an enterprise or multi-site environment. You possess a strong hybrid skill set across networking and server/cloud infrastructure with deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure services. Your expertise extends to network architecture & operations including SD-WAN, SASE, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking models. A strong understanding of service management frameworks such as ITIL is essential. Your pragmatic problem-solving mindset coupled with your ability to translate technical challenges into business-impacting decisions sets you apart.
* Experience leading an infrastructure, networking or platform operations team.
* Strong hybrid skill set across networking and server/cloud infrastructure.
* Deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure services.
* Experience with network architecture & operations.
* Strong understanding of service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
* Ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
