An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced senior lawyer to join a thriving team in Newcastle-upon-Tyne as a Corporate Partner. The successful candidate will be joining a team with an impressive reputation and have no trouble winning work in the local market. This person will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the firms client base and supporting juniors throughout the process
Our client is happy to consider applications from both existing Partners and Principal Associates or Legal Directors, as a clear pathway and time-frame will be outlined for this person to eventually step into a Partner role. As part of this process, you will receive hand on coaching; both day to day from Partners within the Corporate team, but also through the firms leadership academy which is a national programme that helps to fast-track individuals and equip them with the commercial skills they need to manage deals with clients. The firm is also happy to engage in additional external support.

What You Bring:
The ideal candidate for this Corporate Partner position brings a wealth of experience from within corporate law. Your strong network within the legal industry will be invaluable in attracting new clients and contributing to our client's growth. While it’s preferred you have an existing client base, this is not a requirement for the right person.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Partner or similar role within corporate law
- Ability to provide high-quality, commercially focused advice
- Experience working with owner managers, private equity firms, and venture capitalists
- Proven track record of attracting new clients
- Ability to support and work well within a team
