Corporate Solicitor

Are you a Corporate Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with a prestigious national law firm seeking a dynamic and experienced solicitor to join their highly regarded corporate team in Birmingham. As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be advising clients on a range of high-value and complex corporate matters. From M&A transactions and private equity deals to corporate governance and restructurings, this role offers a variety of challenging and rewarding work. You will have the opportunity to lead on transactions, draft and negotiate key legal documents, and work closely with clients to provide commercially focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and private equity transactions.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, such as share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and investment documents.
• Leading due diligence processes and producing comprehensive reports.
• Providing strategic advice on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Managing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on corporate matters.
• Collaborating across departments to offer full-service legal support to clients.
• Supporting business development efforts and contributing to the growth of the firm.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified solicitor in England and Wales, with 3-5 years PQE in corporate law.
• Strong technical skills and experience in M&A, private equity, and corporate finance.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and negotiate effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues to clients.
• A team player with the drive to take initiative and manage a busy workload.
• Business acumen and commercial awareness.
