We are currently recruiting for a Lawyer to join our in-house client on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a predominantly Corporate / M&A background to secure a broader more commercial role in-house whilst retaining some M&A activity.
We're looking for someone who trained as a Corporate lawyer by way of background; candidates are welcome to apply if working in private practice or if you have already moved into an in-house position.
This role reports into the General Counsel based in London and works closes with management across all areas of the business, here in the UK and internationally.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Structuring and negotiating M&A and other commercial transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures and major client agreements
- Advising on related commercial, intellectual property, real estate, employment matters and intra-group structuring
We're looking for someone who can prove their commercial awareness and ability to manage risk, whilst building the trust of senior stakeholders and management.
Reflecting the changing nature of this business, the legal team works with a high degree of flexibility and they can offer you plenty of autonomy and breadth of responsibility within their fast-paced environment.
