This company is celebrated for its client-first approach and its dedication to delivering practical, business-focused legal solutions across a mix of industries including SaaS/IT, healthcare, e-commerce, and construction. You’ll enjoy flexible working and be entitled to generous leave, private health insurance, and a dedicated annual learning budget.
What You'll Do:
As a Commercial Associate, you’ll immerse yourself in supporting an eclectic portfolio of clients from various industries. Your days will be filled with:
- Drafting and reviewing an array of commercial contracts such as supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, e-commerce documents, and IT and software contracts.
- Preparing bespoke privacy policies and internal privacy manuals tailored to each client’s unique needs while ensuring full compliance with current legislation.
- Delivering clear advice on data protection regulations including UK GDPR.
- Assisting clients with general corporate governance matters such as share splits, share issues, transfers of shares, and other related transactions.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across teams to deliver seamless service delivery while contributing positively to the firm’s inclusive culture.
What You Bring:
To thrive as a Commercial Associate, you’ll bring hands-on experience advising commercial clients on everything from contract negotiation and drafting to privacy compliance under UK GDPR regulations. Your background should include:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years of post-admission experience in commercial law.
- Your business acumen enables you to understand clients’ commercial objectives while providing pragmatic legal advice that supports their growth.
- You enjoy collaborating with knowledgeable colleagues who are passionate about sharing ideas within an inclusive team environment.
- You adapt quickly to new concepts or changes in legislation by continuously improving your skills through training opportunities provided by the firm.
The Company:
This organisation is one of the fastest growing market disruptors in commercial legal services thanks to its focus on client satisfaction paired with an inclusive workplace culture. Here you’ll discover flexible working opportunities designed around your lifestyle, with 3 days in their new Ancoats office and 2 from home. Employees enjoy 25 days holiday + bank on top, contractual sick pay for added security if needed, paid volunteering days so you can give back to causes close to your heart, birthday leave for celebrating special occasions, and private health insurance. The company is deeply committed to personal growth by providing an annual budget exclusively for external learning initiatives plus regular team socials that foster genuine connections among colleagues. If you’re searching for an employer who values knowledge sharing just as much as technical expertise, and who believes everyone deserves meaningful career progression, this is where your ambitions can truly develop.
