• Deliver high-quality technical and commercial advice on complex non-contentious matters across a broad spectrum of business needs.
• Engage proactively with existing and prospective clients to articulate the value of the commercial team’s offering and foster enduring relationships as a trusted adviser.
• Lead significant business development initiatives for yourself, the department, and the wider firm by developing client-focused plans and motivating the team to achieve shared goals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate bespoke commercial contracts tailored to each client’s unique requirements.
• Advise on agency and distribution agreements as well as terms & conditions to ensure compliance with current legislation.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property matters including protection strategies for trademarks, patents, copyrights, and designs.
• Support clients with e-commerce and IT issues such as data protection compliance and digital transformation projects.

• A UK qualified solicitor with commercial contracts experience gained from a reputable Private practice or an in house environment.
• Proven expertise in non-contentious commercial law across multiple sectors.
• Strong communication skills to simplify complex legal concepts for clients.
• A track record of successful business development and relationship-building.
• Knowledge of contract law, IP protection, e-commerce regulations, and franchising arrangements.
