Privacy Solicitor

My client is seeking a committed Privacy Solicitor with a keen interest in data protection and cybersecurity. This role presents the chance to become part of one of the most extensive standalone Privacy & Data teams in the UK, comprising 20 lawyers. The team undertakes intricate, high-profile projects across all areas of data protection and cybersecurity law, offering a diverse array of challenging work. They are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive environment where every member feels appreciated for their contribution.

What you'll do:

As a Privacy Solicitor, you will be engaged in a wide range of tasks that span across all areas of data protection and cybersecurity law. You will play a crucial role in global data protection audits, compliance programmes, and breach responses. Your expertise will also contribute to a growing cybersecurity advisory practice and a global outsourced DPO practice. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to nurture critical relationships as you help build and manage their international client roster. You will have:

Contribute to global data protection audits and compliance programmes
Participate in a global breach response team
Support a burgeoning cybersecurity advisory practice
Assist in managing a global outsourced DPO practice
Help build and manage client relationships across an international client roster

What you bring:

As a Privacy Solicitor, your proven experience in privacy law and data protection will be invaluable. Your knowledge of cybersecurity practices will enable you to navigate complex legal matters effectively. While experience in technology or financial services sectors is desirable, it is not essential. You will have:

Proven experience in privacy law and data protection
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
Ability to handle complex legal matters
Experience in technology or financial services sectors is desirable but not essential
Excellent interpersonal skills for building and managing client relationships
