Commercial Senior Associate

Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their commercial team based in Birmingham, with a focus on data privacy and technology. The successful candidate will join a diverse team with expertise in both private and public sector work.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Commercial Solicitor, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for advising clients from various sectors on diverse data privacy matters and technology contracts. Your excellent client service skills will be put to use as you provide top-tier service to clients, while your knack for proactive marketing will help raise the profile of the team. You'll also manage clients and the team effectively. Your role will involve drafting, negotiating, and advising on a variety of technology agreements. Additionally, you'll assist corporate teams with data protection due diligence and disclosures.

What you bring:

• As a Senior Commercial Solicitor, you bring a wealth of experience in advising on data privacy and technology matters. You will:
• Qualified solicitor or equivalent with 6 years or more PQE in advising on data privacy and technology matters
• Excellent technical skills and innovative approach to their application
• Proven ability to take on responsibility, manage and progress matters independently where appropriate
• Strong client focus and service delivery
