Legal Counsel

Fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to join this business on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic in-house opportunity for a lawyer with experience in commercial contracts to work in a fascinating business. You will have a lot of senior stakeholder exposure and be a trusted advisor to the senior management team.

As part of the Legal Counsel role you will:

  • Provide professional and strategic advice to internal clients, including senior management
  • Review and draft contracts and other documentation and assess legal implications
  • Provide legal protection and risk management advice, especially on contract management
  • Ensure that the General Counsel is apprised of key legal risks and issues
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standard operating practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement
