Corporate/Commercial Lawyer Coventry (Hybrid) A unique opportunity has arisen for a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer to join a specialist government body that engages in a variety of civic projects and large-scale strategic development projects, in their Coventry office. This role is rewarded with a competitive salary and agile working, with only two days in office. It presents an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to negotiate on an array of public sector commercial contracts, in a specialist team.

About the role

This role will give the successful Commercial Lawyer the opportunity to:

- Assist with reviewing, drafting, negotiating and structuring of a wide range of commercial contracts, such as material and non-material outsourcing services agreements, procurement agreements, and IT services agreements;

- Develop precedents and streamlining processes to help improve efficiency of legal support;

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the public sector.

About you

The ideal Corporate/Commercial Lawyer will be a U.K qualified lawyer with a minimum of two years’ post qualification experience. You will be able to commute to their Coventry office. You will also ideally have:

- Experience in advising internal and external stakeholders on commercial contracts with a client-focused approach;

- Excellent technical ability;

- A good eye for detail.
