Our client, a leading Energy provider, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their operation on a fully remote basis.
The business operates regulated and non-regulated multi-utility networks across the UK, with a broad range of capabilities including electricity, water and wastewater, heating, cooling, and hot water services.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a range of clients and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations whilst having a key role to play in the strategic decisions the business makes. The role will report directly to the Head of Legal.
About the role:
Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, such as commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, data protection agreements, supplier contracts, side letters, land documents, and utility adoption agreements
Provide expert legal advice to all departments in the organisation
Manage your caseload in a timely and efficient manner.
Communicate with various parties both internally and externally.
Work with external legal partners when necessary.
Stay up-to-date with relevant changes to legislation and regulations that impact the organisation.

Salary of up to £70,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance
