Legal Counsel - 6mth FTC - £60-65k

Rapidly growing outfit in the digital sector are looking to add a Legal Counsel to their team, initially on the basis of a six month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is set to commence in mid-May. The offices are in Central London and the business operates a hybrid-working policy.

About the Role

Working within a supportive and dynamic team, your day-to-day remit will include the following:

• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide variety of contracts, including advertising and creative services, app development, software licences, outsourcing, data analysis, supply & purchase contracts, services agreements and NDAs.
• Providing advice on GDPR issues and compliance
• Involvement in corporate matters and any upcoming M&A activity
• Acting as a key strategic advisor to a wide range of business units on a variety of legal and commercial matters

About You

This role would be well suited to a qualified lawyer with at least 1 years’ PQE (although candidates from all levels will be considered on merit). Applications from lawyers qualified in other Commonwealth jurisdictions are also welcomed.

You must possess a proven track record of successfully negotiating commercial agreements, and being able to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice to clients. Any previous in-house experience would be advantageous but not essential.
