New in-house opportunity has arisen for a commercial lawyer to join with a modern and progressive Yorkshire based business.
A modern and progressive business is looking for an enthusiastic commercial solicitor to join their in-house legal team based in North Yorkshire.
As a paramount member of the legal team, the successful candidate will be providing assistance and support on a wide range of commercial contracts and regulatory matters across all business areas to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulation. The firm is seeking a confident, enthusiastic and committed in-house commercial solicitor to assist in continuing and developing the work of the current team.
The Commercial Solicitor role requires an individual who will be drafting and negotiating commercial contracts such as IT outsourcing / service contracts, introducer, marketing, consultancy and agency agreements, software and support contracts, general supply and distribution agreements, data transfer agreements and digital media and telecom agreements.
As part of the Commercial role, the successful candidate will be expected to monitor new contract / regulatory law relevant to the business. The successful commercial solicitor will also provide assistance to the Senior Contracts Lawyer in all matters arising from the day to day business, which is essential in ensuring a smooth and consistent running of the team.
Based in North Yorkshire, this in-house commercial solicitor role is for a solicitor with a minimum of 3 to 5 years PQE and excellent IT skills; the successful candidate will be knowledgeable of the key contractual detail to fill the role and will have demonstrated strong influencing and persuasion skills in the provision of sound and commercial pragmatic legal advice. To be successful, the ideal candidate would maintain excellent written and verbal communication levels within the business, and consistently demonstrate good co-ordination skills.
