This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join one of the largest brokers in the electronic markets for a role based in central London. The role will include working on a broad range of contracts, legal and commercial issues supporting work from the European, Asia-Pacific and US businesses.
Key Commercial Contracts Lawyer responsibilities:
- Advising and drafting contracts to support new products and services
- Reviewing, advising, drafting and negotiating a range of documents including market agreements, market data agreements, broker agreements, material outsourcing contracts, IP assignments, NDAs and patent filings
- Liaising with US and European counterparts relating to cross-border initiatives
- Reporting directly to the General Counsel and dealing directly with the European management team
Your Key Skills:
As the Commercial Contacts lawyer you will have between 3-7 years experience at a leading city law firm and/or in house. A different level of experience will be considered if you meet the required standards, the figure given is only indicative. You will have excellent general commercial experience in financial services with experience negotiating key legal contracts such as terms of business, exchange/CCP agreements and market data. The ability to read and communicate in French at a business level is highly desirable but not essential.
