Banking & Finance lawyer (4+ PQE)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Lawyer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of lending transactions arising from the company's FIC and Commodities Businesses. The successful candidate will be based in London and is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is driven by delivering the right outcomes for stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Review, advise and provide transaction management support on a wide range of secured and unsecured structured loan facilities
• Prepare and/or review confidentiality agreements, commitment and mandate letters, term sheets, facility agreements, security and inter-creditor agreements, assignments, participation agreements and legal opinions
• Review and advise on a broad range of other types of documentation and related legal issues arising from the company's FIC and Commodities businesses as required
• Provide support to all of the company's business divisions, particularly the Global Markets trading floor
• Cover a wide range of legal specialisms and expertise, including loans, physical commodities, derivatives, securities financing, capital markets, financial regulation and litigation

What you bring:

• Legally qualified with a minimum of 4 years PQE (E&W qualified is preferred)
• Experience working for a Private Practice Law Firm and/or in-house in another investment bank
• Language skills are advantageous, particularly Mandarin
• Understanding of legal issues relevant to emerging markets
• Knowledgeable about FCA rules and regulations or equivalent
• Understanding of risk control
• Proficient IT skills
