What you'll do:

As a Contract Lawyer, you will be responsible for advising clients on new ways of doing business, usually with a significant international perspective. You will provide advice on the UK regulatory perimeter and marketing restrictions, as well as advise on netting and collateral arrangements. Your role will also involve preparing standard terms of business, depositary/custody agreements and distribution/placement agent agreements. Furthermore, you will advise on bank, asset manager and investment firm authorisations.

• Advising on business expansions into new geographies and products
• Providing advice on UK regulatory perimeter and marketing restrictions
• Advising on netting and collateral arrangements
• Preparing standard terms of business, depositary/custody agreements and distribution/placement agent agreements
• Advising on bank, asset manager and investment firm authorisations
• Advising on fund formation, including regulatory classification of fund; application for authorisation of funds/fund managers; reviewing constitutional documents

The contract will last 3-6 months initially.
