In-house Lawyer - Established Renewables Business

Looking for someone with Project Finance and/or Projects experience in the Renewables space

This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone with a project finance or projects background to join this international business on a permanent basis. Our client is completely open to candidates working on a fully remote basis.

You will join the already established legal team in the UK, working as part of a wider international legal team, providing support to colleagues on projects in the UK.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to the UK operation, which is currently developing an extensive portfolio of solar and battery projects throughout the UK.
• The successful candidate will support the existing UK legal team and will provide legal support through all areas of project development as well as general corporate support to the business.
• You will assist with the preparation of project documentation and provide advice in relation to EPC and O&M, AMA, consortium agreements, partnership agreements, financings and credit facility agreements and ancillary finance documentation as well as corporate housekeeping, set-up and liquidation of subsidiaries, as required.

Our client is looking for someone with the following:

• Solicitor qualified in England and Wales
• At least 3 years PQE at either a leading law firm or in-house
• Experience in permitting of energy projects in the UK is desirable
• Experience in project finance law or a projects background
