About the role
As a senior tester you will take responsibility for ensuring that the features delivered by your project team satisfy the products functional and non-functional requirements and are of a consistent high quality. You will have the freedom to shape testing practices within your team as well as encouraging the adoption of these process across the wider organisation. You will immerse yourself in our agile culture and support us by bring industry best practices and work with other members of the development teams to share these experiences though our communities of practice.
We want to move at pace and believe in frequent low risk changes. We value defect prevention and fast feedback with testers at the centre of the development process, helping to create acceptance criteria, develop test approaches and ensure that quality is owned by the whole team.
To ensure that the quality of our highly integrated platform is constantly being measured and improved, through collaboration with developers and business analysts it introduce new functionality while maintaining the quality of existing platforms.
- Lead and oversee testing activities within a Scrum/Project team acting as the quality gatekeeper
- Maintain and update existing automation test suite.
- Where automation isn’t possible you will ensure that manual testing is documented and exploratory testing techniques are used.
- Work with developers to investigate defects and help with their resolution.
- Take a continuous improvement approach to your practices
- Leading on test strategy, approach and planning for respective scrum teams as well as be able to take the lead on larger cross team project.
