.NET Developer - C# - ASP.NET/ .NET Core - SQL - Fully Remote - up to £65k

Outline of the role

Reporting to the Group IT Director working within a team across multiple sites, this role encompasses all of the requirements of maintaining, supporting and developing our internal/external applications. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a balance between a supportive role by responding to customer requests within SLA, and a proactive role by ensuring the company maintains a competitive advantage in the market.

The company works in the travel industry but with in the 'tech for good' part of it by accommodating charities and companies that travel to benefit the less fortunate.

The role offers full remote working but if you prefer working in the office then they do have one based in central Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Provide, maintain and develop internal applications

• Consult with non-IT staff to determine opportunities for the IT dept to develop and improve organisations systems through application development

• Develop additional applications (C#) in support of business activities to support growth and enhance productivity/service offerings/competitive advantage

• Support and develop a C# WebAPI driven web service that is utilised by a number of internal systems

The company has gone through a good period of growth recently hiring a database developer and are recruiting across their Front End and Back End teams to assist in the continuous growth and have a lot of up coming projects which will give you a good split between existing applications to work on and greenfield projects.
