Leading InsurTech start-up with $11M Series A funding is developing a real-time claims automation service. Currently a company of 37 people, we are helping scale up their Engineering team with 15 Python developers to work closely with the founders. Roles ranging from mid-level to technical lead with salary ranging up to £105 (dependent on your experience and skills) plus equity. The is a fully remote, permanent role. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic engineer who strives to develop and deliver intelligent solutions on fault-tolerant distributed systems. From a technical perspective, requirements include: * Expert-level software architecture in Python. Wanting someone who is able to establish best practices and write DRY and testable code. * Strong RDBMS Experience - ideally with Postgres. * Experience building RESTful APIs and data processing pipelines. * Some experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (eg Terraform) * Bonus points for Scala, ML model serving, Apache Flink, Event Sourcing / CQRS, K8s/Flux, Postgres Listen/Notify.
