This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise within Java Engineering in the Birmingham area. You will primarily be responsible for coordinating and managing engineering tasks in support of the implementation of key programmes and projects related to Records Management, Archiving and eDiscovery technology, including the engineering deliveries of yourself and more junior engineers.
Java Cloud Engineer – What will you be doing?
• Engineering the next generation of archiving technology using the wide array of enterprise tools and platforms available.
• Contributing to a well-established agile development team, responsible for overall application health from software, hardware, process, compliance related items.
• Working alongside a team of leading business analysts to develop in accordance with Business Requirements and architectural/design requirements.
• Ensuring coding is robust and of high quality.
• Supporting the creation of product documentation in a fluid and efficient way using automated tools and wiki style platforms.
Java Cloud Engineer – What will you need?
• Strong understanding of technologies including:
o Enterprise Java.
o Spring including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
o Containerization tools and platforms, Redhat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker.
o SQL Server 2019.
o SMTP, SFTP, SSL.
o BitBucket, Maven, Sonar, CI & CD, JIRA, Confluence, ALM.
• Financial Services experience.
• Ability to work within an agile framework.
• Solid technology experience.
