Head of Customer Service - Manchester
A growing consultancy firm based in South Manchester are currently looking for an experienced Head of Customer Service to lead their customer services team of 25 across the business. The Head of Customer Service will lead the team, of which consists of internal and customer facing technical support, in building and delivering the company’s overall service excellence strategy. The successful candidate will own the specification, communication and delivery of services to the firm’s customers, ensuring they are continuously improving the speed and quality of these deliverables by focussing on internal inefficiencies and removing bottlenecks in the production of reporting products. The Head of Customer Service will also own the onboarding of new customers, consisting of managing the specification process for services, communicating on progress and the delivering the service.
The successful Head of Customer Service will have the following experience:
- Strong customer service experience from a commercial setting (4+ years)
- A solid understanding and exposure to data technologies (MS BI)
- A background in a commercial role would be desirable
- Excellent leadership skills, with prior experience of managing large teams
- Ability to communicate on a client-facing level.
This role offers a salary of up to £65,000 pa in addition to a 10% bonus based on performance and benefits. In addition, the role will require infrequent travel mostly around the UK and some international.
