Technology Trainer

Robert Walters has partnered with a leading European intellectual property firm, acting for many of the world’s most innovative and successful companies. Their specialist teams are led by practitioners who have been at the forefront of the industry for years, acting in landmark cases before the EPO and the national courts of Europe. They are currently seeking a Technology Trainer to join their team in London.

Technology Trainer

Remote Working Policy:

2-3 days in the office (Holborn)

What you can expect as a Technology Trainer:

Working within the Training team and as part of the wider Technology department, the post holder will provide training to all employees and will report into the Head of Technology Operations. You will be based in the London office with the opportunity for remote working in line with the firm’s Future Ways of Working policy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Write and implement training deliverables including manuals, Quick Reference Guides, FAQs and desk drop flyers

• Create and edit training videos using Adobe Captivate

• Deliver technology training (in person and online)

• Manage training content in SharePoint and the LMS system (Cornerstone)

• Liaise with the Training Team and Service Desk to identify training trends and needs

• Transitioning of projects into the BAU training portfolio

• Floor walking to provide desk side assistance

• Answering end user tickets via our ITSM platform

• Assisting in other areas of the business

o Support other members of the Technology team

o General Technology support

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate is likely to have extensive experience of delivering IT Training and application support within a professional services firm (preferably legal).

• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical employees

• The ability to effectively build working relationships with a range of people at all levels

• A proactive approach

• The ability to identity opportunities to improve internal processes

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently, meet deadlines and be responsive to employee needs

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience of delivering training and support

• Knowledge and hands on experience with Microsoft 365 is essential

• SharePoint 2019

• Microsoft Teams and Zoom

• Experience of the full training life-cycle

• Experience creating online content and e-learning material
