Salary up to £35,000.
Simon Jersey, is part of Best Dressed Group, one of the world’s leading workwear and clothing groups. Working in partnership with Robert Walters, we are now recruiting for the newly created Group IT Administrator Lead role to be based primarily at the Stockport office in Cheshire.
This is a varied role where you will be given the opportunity to be involved in Projects, Support and Cyber Security across the Best Dressed Group. Due to the continued growth and success of the Group, our client has heavily invested in new IT Infrastructure to provide a common platform. This is part of a wider Transformation Programme and this role directly supports that initiative.
As a near Greenfield site, you will be working closely with the Senior IT Management to continue to support the business growth. This is a genuine opportunity to further develop your career within a fast pasted and forward-thinking business.
One of the primary objectives is to deploy the new Blade infrastructure and SAN. As part of the role, you will also provide BAU support around general network and infrastructure.

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate your skills & knowledge of network infrastructure technologies and services in the following:
- Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless
- Switched Ethernet, Routing Protocols
- Client-Based IPSec/SSL VPN, Site-Based IPSec VPN
- WAN Circuit technologies (xDSL, Cable, MPLS, Metro Ethernet, T1, E1)
- JUNIPER/ASA Firewalls
- Protocol Analysis (Netflow, SNMP, Syslog, Wireshark)
- QoS, DNS, DHCP, Radius
- Network Security Technologies
- 802.11a/b/g Wireless LANs
Knowledge or understanding of the following infrastructure technology services:
- IP Telephony and VoIP
- iSCSI Based Storage
- Microsoft server operating systems (2008/2012/2016)
- Proven experience supporting network systems, preferably across multiple Sites
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
- Active Directory
- Office 365 and SharePoint
As the Group IT Analyst, you will engage with senior stakeholders and users across the wider business. As part of this, you will need to be able to communicate clearly with non-technical team members.
The role will require some limited international travel for project roll-outs and more likely for the UK operational sites.
