Robert Walters are currently engaged with a market leading national software house, based in Northampton, that specialise in creating bespoke aplications and services for the education industry. are now looking to expand their support function by recruiting an IT Support Analyst.
As an IT Support analyst you will join busy service desk delivering application support services to new and existing clients.
IT Support Analyst Role Responsibilities;
- Incident Management
- Classification of all new requests
- Managing and monitoring 1st line tickets ensuring all are kept up to date
- Responding to all new tickets by the end of each working day with an average 15 minute response time
- Dealing with ‘How To’ type queries
- Recognising repetitive issues and trends and raising awareness
- Identifying and recognising known/new bugs and escalating to the relevant team for further investigation
- Updating Support Forums
IT Support Analyst Role Requirements;
- Experience of application support
- The desire to learn
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Proven experience of working in a Service Desk/Helpdesk/ Support environment
- Ability to diagnose and investigate issues
- Experience of call logging, speaking to users
- Proven experience of managing incidents through to resolution or escalation
- Appreciation of incident management and ITIL principle
This Northampton based role is paying a salary of £20,000 - £22,000 while providing you with the opportunity to work in a market leading organisation with a proven record of internal growth.
