Group Information Security Consultant

An International Media company is looking for a Group Information Security Consultant to work with their small team to secure their processes, as well as guide them through their Governance and Risk processes. Working in a hybrid environment, my client will trust you fully to do your job – detect, mitigate and eradicate threats that arise.

Group Information Security Consultant – Manchester

£65,000 Per Anum + Car Allowance (Hybrid working)

An International Media company is looking for a Group Information Security Consultant to work with their small team to secure their processes, as well as guide them through their Governance and Risk processes. Working in a hybrid environment, my client will trust you fully to do your job – detect, mitigate and eradicate threats that arise.

The Group Information Security Consultant will be responsible for:

• Supporting the current Security Roadmaps

• Provide 2^nd / 3^rd Line

• Monitor key metrics to facilitate security governance

• Support regular security tests throughout the company

• Present ideas and new technologies to management to keep up to date with security practices

The key skills and experience required:

• In-depth knowledge of Network Security

• In-depth knowledge of Web Security

• Knowledge of the full Azure stack (inc. Sentinel)

• Working knowledge of security toolsets (Vulnerability management/threat detection)

You will work in a small team covering security across the group, reporting directly to the Group Head of Information Security. This is a fantastic position for someone who is technical, but covers all areas of security – the SOC, Risk and Governance.
