* Our client is a high growth bootstrapped HR-Tech start-up. The client offers an all-in-one SaaS product for in-house recruitment teams to attract, hire and process talent.
We are looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to come in and take ownership of the clients cloud and infrastructure. The role offers plenty of autonomy, even allowing the person to build the DevOps roadmap, introduce new tools and introduce a new cloud strategy (including selecting the provider!)
The role will progress into leadership but will require lots of hands-on engineering initially and taking care of the clients security processes. The role will work closely with the CTO and Co-founders of the business and provides great exposure to decision makers.
The team is mostly based in Jersey, but has scope to hire across the UK, Europe and the US.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring performance and availability of infrastructure
- introduce tooling
- provide technical direction, support and advice
- optimise system security and performance scalability
- Respond to incidents and identify issues
- suggest improves to infrastructure and processes
Criteria
- Proven CI/CD experience
- Experience with scaling SaaS business infrastructure
- Experience with Cloud computing and infrastructure
- Solid understanding of security and best practices
- Experience with Ruby on Rails applications is a bonus
