Senior Data Scientist - Medical Tech
I’m recruiting for a Senior Data Scientist to work in a rapidly expanding Medical Technologies company working on discovering new drugs for Alzheimer’s, Glaucoma and other age related diseases. They are looking to change the lives of the next elderly generation by making sure that there are cures and treatments available for serious illness.
This is the second data science role in the company. Hopefully, the series A goes well and they can expand their team to its true potential. They currently have very strong backing and investment from reputable VCs. They are looking to pay up to £90,000 and operate a hybrid flexible working policy.
This role will see you working on medical imaging techniques, using computer vision and deep learning. You will be working on mainly greenfield projects, so there’s a huge amount of scope to stamp your personal seal on life saving technology. Ideally, you should have a strong R&D background but won’t be shy of production level ML engineering. As the team grows, you’ll have the opportunity to grow into a leader and should you chose so, you could be managing a large team.
If the following sounds like you:
- MSc/PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science or related
- PostDoc OR 3+ years Commercial experience in ML Research role (Desirably Bio/Med Tech)
- Experience with Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Signal Processing
- Solid Python Engineering skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow for Deep Learning)
- Passion for cutting edge ML Technologies and drive to innovate
