SQL Data Developer 3-6 month contract £300-400 per day (Outside of IR35) UK based client (Home based with occasional travel to Liverpool head office) My client is an independent provider of data management and business change services, is looking for a skilled contract SQL Software Developer for a 6mth project. This role involves building Windows Forms Applications in C# .NET, as the main project will be a greenfield build of a multi user windows forms interface connected to SQL server, along with import and export of files.
SQL Data Developer will support the implementation of our data software suite through the complex analysis of data and assist in the delivery of client projects.
They will ensure the successful application of data cleansing and data migration activities, assist with test activities, complete defect assessments, and identify change requirement, supporting future enhancements to our data reporting dashboards as well as providing valuable recommendations to future initiatives.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a SQL Data Developer
- Ability to write clean, efficient, readable, and well documented code
- Advanced understanding of building data driven .Net forms applications with MS Office automation
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft T-SQL (including complex joins and query optimisation)
- Producing technical documentation
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Great at problem solving
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Someone with a can-do attitude who is proactive and a team player
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Requirements:
Essential
- Microsoft SQL Server – T-SQL, stored procedures, database design, large data, bulk processing, optimisation
