This global organisation have great opportunity for an Atlasian Support Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has become available for this global financial organisation. They are looking for a Support engineer to be responsible for the successful technical delivery of Project related change, and incident handling, for Agile and Collaboration Tooling, to technology teams and users across all operating units. This should be to plan, agreed quality, design/architectural standards, and in line with Change Governance processes.
Consultancy and facilitation for adoption and migration to strategic tooling.
Analysis, planning, deployment and test of changes to in scope tools and tool services which may include proof of concept, hardware improvements and product version upgrades.
Plan and manage value delivery which may require collaboration with dispersed and complex teams in various locations
Day to day technical expert, acting as an advisor contributing to technical developments and as a facilitator of complex incident resolution. L2 Support of production services. Full incident, problem and change management roles for all in scope tools and tool services.
Engagement with tool users, business unit tool champions, and internal technical teams, to scope, plan, and deliver service enhancements or customizations.
Creation and maintenance of DevTools Knowledge Base and DevTools Administration pages for all in scope tools and tool services.
Support governance and MI gathering through automation and data mining within in scope tools.
Strong product knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Agile Central (Rally)).
Strong experience of working in an application support environment, supporting and working with users of Jira, Confluence and Agile Central.
Experience of object oriented scripting/development an advantage: Python, test-driven development, java/shell scripting and developing against common APIs ( REST, etc)
Experience in administration and monitoring of Windows/Linux/DB systems, implementation of Nagios checks, use of Unix monitoring tools (sar, iostat, vmstat).
General administration of on Unix/Linux OS and MS SQL Database.
