My client, a multi-national facilities management organisation based in Manchester, are looking for an IT Business Analyst with experience in working on Software Development projects. Working within a growing IT function, this is a great opportunity to work for a true market leader that are passionate about supporting personal development whilst allowing for full autonomy in your role.
An exciting prospect for an IT Business Analyst, the successful candidate will work closely with the BA Manager to build strong relationships with third-party customers. You'll be a pivotal contributor to the change function, from applying large scale system upgrades and replacing bespoke legacy packages to addressing smaller changes for major clients.
The business will give you a platform to assist in implementing best practice processes as-well improving overall commercial outcomes through company sponsored personal development such as ISEB/BCS/QA qualifications.
•Working closely with the BA Manager, you'll deliver end-to-end IT Systems projects.
•Upgrade from legacy bespoke CRM/CMS systems to target packages; you'll do so through eliciting detailed non-functional requirements from major external clients. and turning these into functional specifications, relayed to the internal Software Development team.
•Facilitating interviews, interpreting external reports and leading on workshops.
•Present requirements through modelling and exceptional documentation.
•Min. 3 years solid IT Business Analysis experience. (essential)
•Exceptional ability to organise your own time and prioritise work-loads to tight deadlines.
•Design and lead workshops for both internal and third-party customers.
•Experienced in delivering projects through both Waterfall/AGILE methodologies.
•Well-versed in using JIRA for software delivery.
