A growing utilities company based in Manchester are currently looking for an MI & Data Analyst to join their team. The MI & Data Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining all SQL scripting in order to:
• Extract data from multiple sources to produce accurate and meaningful MI for all of customer operations which includes Debt, Billing and Customer Service
• Extract data in agreed formats for loading into operational systems to support ongoing customer campaigns
This role will also be responsible for working with IT to rebuild scripts and access data in the event of any server issues or business continuity incidents. The job holder will also be responsible for supporting and coaching others on their SQL coding skills to create a blended and supporting work environment and eliminate any single point of failure. They will also have exposure to back-end BI technologies such as SSIS and a AWS cloud-hosted reporting suite.
The successful MI & Data Analyst will have the following experience:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a Data / BI / MI Analysis centric role
- Extensive experience working with SQL Server / coding
- Experience working with data visualisation tools (preferably Power BI)
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to back-end BI technologies such as SSIS
- Previous experience in the utilities sector would be a highly desirable
The role is offering a salary of up to £42,000 in addition to an annual bonus, health cash plan, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, and hybrid working (2-3 days in office per week).
