Led SQL DBA - Manchester
A rapidly growing insurance business based in Manchester are currently looking for a Lead SQL DBA where they will be responsible for the design, development and administration of databases for software solutions. The Lead SQL DBA will architect and maintain High Availability Hybrid SQL infrastructure while also monitoring the infrastructure to identify performance problems and implement solutions. You will take ownership of all technical aspects of databases whilst also mentoring others. Additionally, you will be responsible for SQL Server performance tuning, optimization of database objects in addition to building and updating analytical reports to support the BI team and stakeholders.
The successful Lead SQL DBA will be experienced in the following technologies:
- SQL Server 2008 - 2016
- T-SQL programing
- Relational database design and implementation
- SQL Server architecture (SQL Clusters/nodes)
- SQL Profiler
- SQL Server SSAS (Analysis Services) - 2008+
- SQL Server SSRS (Reporting Services) - 2008+
- Deploying into live environment via CI / CD build pipelines.
- SQL Server performance tuning and optimisation
The role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 in addition to an array of benefits that include a bonus and pension.
