An exciting and well established Manchester based business is currently looking to add an Analytics Manager to their growing team. The Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in analysing guest behaviour and creating insights to inform the business. Share CRM activity, Membership acquisition, incremental bookings and guest frequency.
The business, based in Manchester, is looking for a highly analytical person, with a background of working with applications for data insight. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, collaborative worker and natural relationship builder.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Analytics and Guest Insight, this is a tremendous opportunity to really drive the business forward, turning the data and insights into business decisions and strategy. It would be ideally suited to an ambitious individual, looking to make their mark and ensure that data and insight is at the heart of the business.
Duties for the Analytics Manager role:
Manage 1 analyst (growing) and foster a culture of high performance and leadership
Explore our rich datasets and use technology to answer wide varying business questions
Responsible for executing end-to-end analytics/data science project
You will develop tools, visualisations and processes that improve the insight and analytical capability of the business
Responsible for data preparation, understanding, and modelling
Presentation of data analysis to wide range of stakeholders across the business
Drive and optimise current guest behaviour, operating at both strategic and tactical level by driving and defining innovative approaches to gathering data and generating insights
Build and strengthen functional relationships with IS and Finance to get the right data.
Work collaboratively with teams in marketing such as digital team, CRM, Commercial and Brand commercial and brand, to deliver best in class analysis and guest insight, and drive KPI improvements .
Increase usage of Tableau, utilise the best reporting tool/format for the reader
Prioritise activity and resolve conflict based on commercial and customer impact
Essential Skills and Experience:
Highly data driven and analytical - working with applications for guest data insight.
Ability to simplify complex analytical output for communication in the business
Ability to identify most suitable statistical approach to support CRM via analysis
Extensive analytical and statistical skill set in the field of statistical analysis and predictive modelling
Highly numerate with solid commercial acumen and confidence to challenge business decisions
Solid understanding of business and customer KPI's
Advanced experience of SQL, Tableau
Passionate about analytics and data science with great communication skills
