By joining this dynamic team, you will be working with closely with internal and external stakeholders to design, build and deliver cloud-based architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in technical pre-sales activities (supporting the commercial teams)
- Capture customer requirements and present technical solution options
- Produce detailed technical solution designs
- Implement, test and handover cloud solutions on AWS
- Migrate workloads into AWS
- Investigate and implement automation, time-saving and efficiency tools and approaches where possible
Required Skills:
- Current valid AWS 'Solutions Architect’, ‘SysOps Administrator', ‘DevOps’ Professional or ‘Developer’ Associate certification (or equivalent skills/experience)
- Proven experience with AWS cloud solution design, building and migration skills as well as other cloud environments such as Azure and GCP
- Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure components (IAAS/PAAS)
- Experience producing high and low-level technical designs
- Proven experience working in a customer-facing role
- Experience in Windows technologies such as Windows Failover Clustering, MS SQL and Active Directory
- Experience of other cloud automation, CI/CD and orchestration tools/services
- Knowledge and experience with scripting e.g. Bash, Powershell, and languages such as Python and NodeJs
- Skills around cloud security & DevSecOps
- Experience with containerisation – including ECS and EKS (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with FluentD, MetricBeat
- Familiarity with Grafana / Prometheus
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch / OpenSearch, including ELK stack
