Cloud Product Architect (AWS) Our client, a well-known, national provider of regulatory governance across the Financial Services market and one of the foremost authorities in the provision of these services and in the throes of wide reaching digital transformation and are looking to improve their current operations across the UK. As a leading regulatory body in their market, they are now looking for a Product Architect to join their Infrastructure Product Group. As a Product Architect you will be responsible for designing the architecture of the AWS environment, continually evolving to support the clients transformation Journey. This an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team with a focus on facilitating their Business and Technology Solutions to enable the client to deliver and implement cutting-edge, industry leading technology and digital solutions used by millions of customers in the financial services sector. Responsibilities

Identifying innovation opportunities and creating proposals to push these forward, shape the relevant product roadmaps which identifies the scope, prioritisation and timeframes for delivery of capability including integration and specification of the products' solution design as well as addressing technical debt
- Produce architectural solutions that consider our architectural, service, security policies and adhere to cloud best practices
- Support our lead architects with defining and governing the technical standards within the product group. This will also include attending and playing an active role within our Architecture forums and Design Authority Boards
- Support your product owner and technical leadership team to drive architectural consistency and maturity across our environment
- Build a strong culture of collaboration by sharing and building knowledge
- Ensuring technical standards are maintained and enforced
Requirements

Proven experience working with AWS technologies, ideally as holding AWS Professional level certifications

Extensive experience with formal architectural methodologies/frameworks as well as others; TOGAF, DevOps, SRE etc.
- Experience working with various external suppliers, employees in end to end projects and/or product delivery life cycle
- Willingness to partake in on-call rota
- Open and clear communication skills, patient, pleasant and diplomatic whilst ensuring that key messages are understood by non-technical stakeholders
