Robert Walters are hiring for a Senior Reward Analyst for one of the UKs largest building merchants.
This is a full-time permanent role. The role is based in their head office in Northampton, Northamptonshire, with remote working available for 4 days per week.
The role comes with a salary of circa £40,000 to £45,000 plus a great benefits package (including private healthcare and a 15% bonus).
Job Summary:
To work closely with the Head of Reward, Benefits Manager and other team members to manage compensation projects and will act as the lead role within the Compensation arm of the department, supporting the Head of Reward on the delivery of all key projects.
This role will be immersed in all aspects of the Group’s compensation offer to effectively be the SME for our businesses in all day-to-day compensation related activity.
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the design, cost analysis, development, communication and implementation of reward packages across the Group that maintain competitive advantage by attracting, developing, motivating and retaining high quality colleagues.
- Play a lead role in managing the combined Group Annual Salary Review and Annual Bonus cycles ensuring both are completed accurately within policy guidelines and to strict processing timescales.
- To act as department lead in the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of all compensation related third party systems.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the HR and wider business community on all compensation related matters and requests, ensuring conformance with established guidelines, polies and practices.
- Conduct benchmarking of market data, cost and model proposals and present findings/recommendation to ensure our total compensation offering remains competitive within the industry and the wider external market.
- Oversee our Job Evaluation process by liaising with HR Business Partners and their client groups to ensure roles are correctly sized and graded objectively.
- Provide regular, proactive and insightful compensation data and analysis to key business stakeholders to help shape operational decision making.
- Contribute to ongoing and future Reward related projects (e.g. compensation system development, pay and grading structure review, car policy enhancement, automated Total Reward Statement launch)

You will therefore have at least 1 years compensation experience and a track record of managing and delivering projects within a past paced environment.
Ideally you will also have experience of C&B benchmarking services and have knowledge in the usage and interpretation of Reward survey data and analysis.
