Lead Python Developer - Greenfield Reinsurance Project

We are working with a Global Reinsurance firm within Marsh McLennan to hire a Lead Python Developer. This is a great opportunity where you will be working on greenfield projects, whilst growing a team around you. Very much a Start-Up vibe but with the backing and infrastructure of an enterprise company. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who enjoys the end to end development life cycle, someone who is experienced in working with stakeholders and making important decision daily.

What you will need to have 

• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Experience in a comparable role.
• Expert knowledge in Python backend frameworks, especially FastAPI, Flask and Django. 
• Experience with low code frontend frameworks (e.g. Streamlit). 

What will make you stand out 

• Experience with modern web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Familiarity and experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Databricks, SQL, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities. 
• Self-starting approach to work.

Salary: Upto £100k
Benefits: £10k bonus at 12 month plus negotiate on new salary and your standard employee benefits package.
