Robert Walters is working with a leading provider within Healthcare and seeking a dynamic and ideas driven Head of Workforce Management to join the team and provide credible and innovative leadership in order to deliver a high-quality workforce service. This role is based in London with hybrid working options.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and committed Head of Workforce Management to join their expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership in the delivery of an active temporary workforce, working closely with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

As Head of Workforce Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's temporary workforce.

  • Develop and lead the implementation of strategic workforce plans aligned with overall strategy
  • Collaborate with the Director of Workforce to develop Workforce strategies, policies, and processes
  • Ensure continuous maintenance of the active workforce through effective leadership
  • Provide expert advice on all aspects of workforce planning and strategy
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce initiatives
  • Act as a critical support to the Senior Leadership team, contributing to the organisation’s overall strategy and operational plan

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Workforce Management position brings significant experience in leading large scale sustainable contingent workforce delivery strategies.

  • Significant experience in leading large scale sustainable contingent workforce delivery strategies within Health or Public sectors
  • Extensive knowledge of formalised workforce planning and key workforce information delivery
  • Understanding of employment legislation related to contingent workforce management, recruitment and resourcing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
  • Proven track record in management demonstrating ability to provide direction and hold others accountable for performance
  • Experience in developing talent management and succession planning programmes
