Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for your next opportunity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their Human Resources team on a 12-month temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing payroll function supporting both UK and international operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of International Payroll, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the UK payroll function. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with statutory obligations, and supporting payroll transition activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process UK monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and internal policies
  • Respond to payroll queries and manage the shared mailbox
  • Perform manual salary and PAYE calculations
  • Raise third-party, currency, and ad hoc payments
  • Run and reconcile share option reports
  • Prepare and process Dubai payroll and currency payments
  • Perform reconciliations and post journals for group companies
  • Calculate statutory leave and conduct bank reconciliations
  • Support payroll transition to Cloud Pay, including parallel runs and data migration

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven UK payroll experience, ideally within a financial institution
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all levels
  • Intermediate Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desirable:

  • Experience with Resource Link and Cognos reporting
  • EMEA payroll knowledge
  • CIPP qualification
  • Experience with payroll vendor transitions
