Employee Relations Partner

We're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner who thrives on building trust, solving problems, and shaping positive workplace culture. In this role, you'll be at the heart of supporting managers and employees, ensuring fairness, compliance, and consistency while helping the business deliver its goals. The role can be fully remote, however there will be travel to London regularly. Contract: 6 month FTC

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters - from disciplinaries and grievances to absence and performance management.
  • Owning ER case management across the region, handling issues with sensitivity and integrity.
  • Supporting business change programmes such as restructures and TUPE, ensuring people are treated fairly throughout.
  • Using data and insights to spot ER trends, highlight risks, and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Coaching and upskilling managers so they can confidently lead their teams and create a positive working environment.
  • Delivering training sessions to embed strong people management practices.
  • Working closely with colleagues across HR Business Partnering, Shared Services, and Centres of Expertise to implement effective ER strategies, that align with the business' goals and values.

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in managing employee relations cases across the full spectrum.
  • Proven experience advising and managing complex performance, disciplinary, grievances and absence management cases.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills - you'll be confident building relationships at every level.
  • A fair, balanced, and pragmatic approach when handling sensitive matters.
  • Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of HRIS (e.g. D365) and PowerBI would be an advantage.
  • CIPD Level 5
