We are looking for an experienced Head of HR Services to oversee and enhance our client's HR operations. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in process improvement, administrative efficiency, and HR systems implementation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that HR services are effective, impactful, and aligned with business needs.

Head of Human Resources Services

Salary: Up to £70,000 + a generous car allowance and discretionary bonus scheme

Location: Worcestershire (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

What you'll do:

As the Head of Human Resources Services, your primary responsibility will be to lead and improve the HR operations. You will oversee all aspects of HR administration, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance at all times. As you oversee and guide the HR services team, you will apply your leadership abilities to promote a culture of excellence and ongoing development. To make sure that HR services complement business objectives, you will also collaborate closely with stakeholders.

  • Oversee and improve HR administration, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Lead the implementation and improvement of HR systems, promoting automation and process improvements
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Manage and mentor the HR services team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure HR data integrity, reporting, and compliance with employment legislation
  • Work closely with stakeholders to align HR services with business goals
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and system improvements
  • Managing the HR services team of up to 10 administrators

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Human Resources Services role will bring proven experience from a similar position within a dynamic environment. You should have a strong background in implementing HR systems and improving processes. Your excellent leadership skills will be essential in managing the team effectively. Furthermore, your ability to drive change and improve efficiency within HR functions will be highly valued.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic setting in HR Services / HR Shared service centre environment
  • Experience working on large TUPE processes.
  • Strong background in HR systems implementation and process improvement
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR administration, compliance, and data management
  • Ability to drive change and improve efficiency within HR functions
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
