Our client is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert advice on health and safety principles, systems, and processes within a leading education provider. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture of health and safety performance, ensuring the welfare of employees, students, and others.
What you'll do:
As a Health and Safety Advisor, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety within the organisation. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on a range of health and safety matters, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to encourage proactive consideration of risks. Your ability to monitor standards through audits, inspections, and risk assessments will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in various areas such as machinery, lasers, radiation, biological and chemical safety.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Health and Safety Advisor position will bring a wealth of experience from their time as a health and safety professional. Your degree level qualification or equivalent experience will be complemented by your NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent). Your excellent networking skills will enable you to build strong relationships with key stakeholders while your proven written and oral communication skills will allow you to articulate information clearly. Your ability to organise your workload effectively under pressure will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
