I am working with a well-established, values-led organisation who are looking for a People & Culture Advisor. This is a broad, hands-on generalist role working as part of a team and supporting the whole employee lifecycle.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, delivering a proactive, professional and commercially focused People & Culture service.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance, probation and capability
• Supporting and leading ER processes, ensuring compliance with UK employment law
• Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
• Overseeing contracts, variations and employee lifecycle changes
• Ensuring GDPR compliance and completion of pre-employment checks
• Supporting policy development and consistent best practice
• Assisting with payroll queries and benefits administration
• Producing people data reports and identifying process improvements

About You

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) or equivalent experience
• Experience in an HR Advisor / HR Officer / People & Culture role
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Confident managing ER cases independently
• Organised, detail-focused and comfortable working autonomously
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
